The Quinzaine de l’image is an annual festival de photography held in the villages of Maubourguet and Madiran in the south west of France. Now in its 11th year, the current edition will feature 350 photographs in large format from July 29th to August 3rd. Since 2021, the festival exhibited a selection of the photographs in the neighbouring town of Aire sur l’Adour during the month of September, giving a total of 9 weeks of exhibition.
Each year a theme is proposed and this year the theme is peace. Quinzaine de l’image is delighted to have the participation of the Global Peace Photo Award with a selection of 15 superb photos from around the world drawn from entries they have received received for the competition since 2016.
