Alexia Maria Spiridon, Romania

Many soldiers and citizens died of starvation and many others fell ill. Everything seemed hopeless, until a little girl with a big heart came with a sack full of bread to the hungry soldiers. She also fed them as a reward for her kindness and generosity, a statue called „The Little Savior“ was erected in her honor.
